Welcome back, audio drama fans! Congratulations to everyone who submitted to our scriptwriting contest. Submissions are now closed, and we’ll be announcing the winners in two weeks – so keep your ears open and your eyes peeled.
This show, it’s a full assortment of stories to tell – from the gumshoes on the street, to a young child’s kingdom, to the red planet next door. We’ll start things out with Black Jack Justice from Decoder Ring Theatre in “The More Things Change” to get your weekly dose of noir in. After that is another story from A.R. Olivieri – one all about survival in the ruins of a disaster in the happiest place on earth. It’s back-to-back episodes of “Magic King Dom“, another short installment piece similar to 2298 we heard two weeks ago – with a surprising amount of childlike charm for the setting our young hero is found in. Don’t forget, Great & Terrible has just premiered, so go check it out on Apple Podcasts when you get a chance.
After that, we prepare for an epic space journey with Commander O’Rania in the Prelude to Marsfall, a podcast series from Amity Bros Productions. We’ll talk more about Marsfall in the coming weeks, but if you like science fiction with a snarky sense of humor and quick quips (and an AI who keeps trying out human speech habits), this is definitely one to check out. Marsfall has begun it’s second season of episodes, so if tonight’s Prelude leaves you eager for more, be sure to check out their website for more episodes or wherever you listen to podcasts. Happy listening!
