Happy Holidays radio listeners! This is a special MAT Holiday episode we aired on Christmas Day this year. Not every episode of MAT is appropriate for all audiences – it is a midnight show, after all – but on a holiday such as Christmas where storytelling is such a core element of the season, we wanted to share a set of family-friendly stories that everyone could enjoy after the presents have been opened. We welcomed back two production groups from last year – Uncanny County and Aural Traditions. We start with the former as we venture out to a lonely little motor lodge on Route 66, where a bit of Christmas magic blooms. After that, Aural Traditions shares the story of one newly-hired elf at the North Pole who is on a mission to bring back Santa in time for Christmas.
