Do you like bugmen? Do you like science? Do you like bugmen doing science? Do you like the science of bugmen? Well you’re in luck, because we have both this episode!
We’re back this show with more of the investigation into the Blackwood Bugman, along with featuring a local radio favorite that’s recently gone missing from the airwaves. If you’re a central Ohio listener, you may be familiar with the Amazing Science Emporium – a short daily science show that brings fun and entertaining audio to supplement bits of knowledge and discovery. We’re not happy to see ASE disappear, but instead of disappearing into the void without a proper acknowledgement, we decided to have at least one last moment with this show – if it has to go for good (which we hope not), we at least have a proper farewell to this icon of WCBE. And if you enjoy hearing these kinds of science tidbits as much as we do, let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org – and who knows, maybe we can bring more Amazing Science to your ears in the future.
But don’t forget about our main attraction! Blackwood is back as our trio of investigators fall deeper into the web of mystery and deception in their little hometown – leading to a discovery that someone may be keeping these things hidden for a reason. The show is produced by Skylark Media; an entertainment network creating additional podcasts including Feminist Folklore, Behind True Crime, American Hysteria and Euphomet. Their new audio drama series, Earthbreak, follows Lynn Gellert – possibly the last person on the planet – as she tries to make it through a dangerous landscape and an uncertain future. Episodes are up now, so be sure to check it out – after Blackwood, that is! Enjoy!
