Hello again, everyone! We had a bit of rerun-run the last two weeks – some last-minute mishaps cut our ‘Fantastic Summer’ a little short. We hope you enjoyed some old favorites in the meantime – this week’s show promises to be a mix of both old and new!
We decided to start things out with another visit from It’s All Been Done Radio Hour. If you’re a Central Ohio listener, you know that IABDRH does a monthly live performance of original radio play serials. As we tip our hats to them in their most recent performance, we turn this show into an hour of comedic sci-fi – starting with another exciting adventure from the tales of Universe Journey in “March to War, Part II: Traitor in Their Midst”.
And if you’re like us, listening to Universe Journey with its ragtag crew may remind you of some other bewildering space officers – the esteemed members of the Blast-Off Patrol of Two-Minute Danger Theater fame. If you’re new to the show and haven’t heard these stories before, they’re best described as, “what old-time radio might have sounded like had modern-day pharmaceutical drugs been available.” We hope you enjoy “The Space Queen of Venus” as the second half of our show, and tune in during the coming weeks for more new shows ahead!
