Episode 200 – Scary Childhoods

Episode 200 – Scary Childhoods

Hi folks!  If you’re just tuning in, you’ll probably notice this episode is another late post – like last episode, the events and shows mentioned here have already passed, but we want to list the info for you anyway for future reference.  (This is a great track record to be keeping as we arrive at our 200th Episode, we know – a lot of unexpected work obligations and deadlines popped up over the last few weeks.  Thank you for your patience!)

HEAR Now Audio Fiction Festival:  As mentioned last week, this festival features audio fiction in all forms, especially audiobooks and radio plays, bringing together production groups from across the nation and famous artists in the audio community.  MAT  couldn’t make it to the festival this year (see above), but if you were in attendence you may have heard on of our MAT Features in the NATF Playhouse lineup.  “Tara Flame on Patrol” was selected as part of the festival’s listening collection for 2016; we’re very honored to take part, and hope everything went spectacularly at the festival. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out next year!

Also, if you’re in the Central Ohio area, the folks at It’s All Been Done Radio Hour had their newest show at Madlab Theatre on Saturday, June 11th at 3:30pm. I can personally say that it was a super-fun show – I (Cathy) ended up guest narrating at the event and had an awesome time.  These guys are a blast, folks – they have a show happening at the start of every month, and will be guest performing at Comfest this year.  Catch a show if you can!

Now for the audio dramas!  This show we’ll hear another taste of IABDRH‘s shows with Episode 3 of “The Scary Dead: The Road to Cincinnati“. After that, it’s a trip back to 19 Nocturne Boulevard with their twisting tale of “Childhood Trauma“. Enjoy!
