Good evening, listeners! We’re still on the road, doing some visiting across the pond this week. Tonight’s episode is a singular feature: the final episode of The Minister of Chance series. Here, in light of Lord Rathen’s disasterous attack, Kitty, the Minister and Cantha strike out to salvage the situation and put an end to the war once and for all. This is Episode 5: “In a Bark on the River Hex”.
And if you like “The Minister of Chance”, be sure to check out their website! Not only can you find their full episodes for download, you can also read about their film-making efforts for this story! It’s a really exciting project the group is pulling together, you’ll definitely want to check it out. 🙂
Wait wait wait, where are you going? You didn’t think that was all, did you?
Well, okay, it was it for the episode (mostly). But we do have some announcements we want make sure you didn’t miss.
– For everyone living in or near Columbus, Ohio, we will be holding local auditions once again for our productions of the scriptwriting competition we held last year, as well as a few locally-written tales we’re cooking up. If you want to come and audition for us in person, you may want to see if you can get a spot on the Actors’ Theatre of Columbus audition list – we’ll be sitting in with them on their auditions as actors audition for their 33rd Season of Shakespeare in the Park. That’s this coming weekend, February 15th and 16th. Spaces are very limited right now, however, so if you can’t make it, need extra time or simply prefer to send your audition electronically, we will be accepting email submissions for up to two weeks afterwards. More details on submission materials coming ASAP – we’re hoping to have all the info up on our website by the end of the weekend.
– Don’t forget to check our Events Page – if you missed out on our scriptwriting competition, there’s two others going on right now looking for submissions – MisfitsAudio’s holiday script competition and the Marion Thauer Brown Audio Drama Scriptwriting Competition. Both great contests with opportunity to show your creativity in the radio scriptwriting medium. Also we have a small listing of live audio drama events happening across the country by different production groups, so be sure to check what’s going on in your area.
Keep your eyes peeled for that audition info, everyone! We’ll do our best to have it up ASAP.
