Good evening, everyone! Well, we’re officially out of summer and our Summer Season, which means we’re back with more new and original audio dramas to share. Tonight, however, we decided to take a slight detour and give you an update on some past audio dramas that are going “above and beyond” in their storytelling right now.
First off, the fantastic folks at Audio Epics have just completed crowdfunding of a full-length audiobook version of their drama, The Witch Hunter Chronicles. This production will be a bigger, more detailed telling of the original tale, with more places, new characters and a new ending. You can find out more about their progress by visiting their website at audioepics.com, and even though the crowdfunding has come to an end, you can still support their production by purchasing the Witch Hunter Chronicles series on their site or on Bandcamp.
Another group taking their audio drama to another level are our friends over at Radio Static, with their story The Minister of Chance, a fantasy series we shared with you earlier this year. The audio drama was produced through the help of crowdfunding, and this month they have put out a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to finance a movie version of The Minister of Chance. If you’re a fan of the series this is a really exciting opportunity, especially with a bunch of pledge levels including memorabilia, samples of storyboarding and even interaction with cast/crew. You can find out more about this project and the creation of ‘Minister’ over at at ministerofchance.com or check out their Kickstarter page.
In the spirit of this crowdfund event, tonight we are revisiting The Prologue and Episode 1 of The Minister of Chance, for those of you who remember and miss it and those who are new to our program. So sit back and enjoy!
