Episode 104 – Intentions Revealed

So tonight’s episode was a bit fun.  What you’re hearing in tonight’s audio is a full second take – the first time I (Cathy) apparently hosted to an empty room, because I failed to press the record button at the start.  I suppose that was a practice round…?   Hello listeners!  Still on the road but back with another episode of  ‘Our Fair City’ and ‘The Minister of Chance‘.  Our show starts with Episodes 9 and 10 of the former, “The Business of Eavesdropping” and “What’s Love Got to Do With It?” as we listen in to the other conversations taking place at Al’s Bar.Read More →

We’re back with another on-the-road episode of Midnight Audio Theatre tonight!  Coming to you from the South-Eastern end of the U.S., but with a mind towards everyone enduring another winter storm back in Ohio and the rest of the Midwest-Northeast.  Take care everyone and stay warm. For tonight’s selections we’re bringing you a small sampling of ‘Our Fair City‘ and a large portion of ‘The Minster of Chance‘.  Hartlife Productions shares with us Episode 8, “Discretion is the Better Part of Labor”, where our protagonists Neal Henderson and Nathan Rourke at Al’s Bar to discuss their budding partnership. Episode 102 – Shakes and Shivers

Hello! We’re back again, surprise surprise! Cathy here – I’m in the midst of travelling right now, but taking some time out to get you all a new show – so if I sound a little weird or there are sounds in the background, it’s part of the travel experience I’m afraid.  So thank you for all your patience and your continued listening! Tonight we have more tales of ‘Our Fair City’ from our good friends at the Hartlife Corporation, as we rejoin Neal Henderson and Nathan Rorke in their first chance meeting aboard the People-Mover.  It’s another three episodes from their first season, entitledRead More →

Episode 101 – Broken Cities and Broken Worlds

Welcome back, audio drama fans! We’re back with more new stories tonight, and revisiting some fresh new series; if you like what you heard last week, you’re in luck – for the next month or so our two main features will be “Our Fair City” from Hartlife and “The Minister of Chance” by Clare Eden and Dan Freeman.  At the same time, we will be bumping up our rating for the next few weeks to PG-13, mostly for use of language in the stories we’re sharing, but occasionally for some ‘dubious’ content as well. So first up this night is “Our Fair City“, with threeRead More →

Episode 99 – End of Another Year

Happy Holidays, everyone!  The new year is fast approaching, but we still have time to fit in one more holiday tale before 2013 runs away from us.  Tonight we have a full-length story from our friends at Misfits Audio Productions – a story adapted, produced and mixed by Glenn Hascall, one of winners from this year’s scriptwriting competition.  The story is ‘Miracle on 34th Street,” and we hope you enjoy this presentation as our last audio drama as we see 2013 on its’ way out. What about 2014, you ask?  Well, we’ll definitely be back with more audio drama, never fear – we’ve got aRead More →

Episode 97 – ‘Tis the Season

Welcome to December!  Here’s hoping everyone has been safe with the rough winter weather we’ve been having.  Tonight starts a series of holiday episodes that are a bit on the uncommon side, but still good to come home to, out of the cold with a warm drink.  Even if they are filled with holiday horror and mystery – there’s also a bunch of comedy to go around too.  ðŸ™‚ This episode is a holiday story from 19 Nocturne Boulevard, “Three Exes for Xmas“, as well as the first half of “Mince Pie Murder” from the Wireless Theatre Company.  Sit down and have a listen! Episode 96 — Down The Rabbit Hole

Cathy’s been sick this past week with a nasty sinus infection, so we took this opportunity to feature an hour-long audio drama adaptation of Lewis Caroll’s “Alice in Wonderland,” as performed and created by Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre. Because this took up the whole show, we’ve decided not to post the MAT episode online (the amount of hosting done took less than a minute, so we didn’t really see the point), but you can go download and listen in here at Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre’s website.  They did a great job — definitely go and check them out!

Episode 95 – Fluidity of Reality

Good evening, and welcome back for our last night of MAT Features! To start off the evening, we have our last (but not least) MAT Feature, “The Ghost of Arch Oboler”, written by Bret Jones.  In addition to that, we’re revisted by our old friend and vigilante “The Voice” from Two Minute Danger Theater, and for the second half of the program we’ll be listening to “Every Now and Then”, a suspense story from ‘Voices in the Wind Audio Theater’.   It’s an engaging listen with great actors and well-done production work, so be sure to tune in!   And did you hear?  This may beRead More →
