For this episode, we’ve found a handful of grinchy stories from new and old characters alike. Starting things off we welcome the folks at Public Domain Universe with their story, “GhostCo“. The PDU podcast series focuses on Candide, Tom Sawyer, and Cinderella and their misadventures – but for the Christmas holiday, they’ve pulled out an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the classic story “A Christmas Carol”, with an ending you might not expect. Moving on to the post-apocalyptic life, we’ll make a long-overdue visit to the folks at the Hartlife Corporation. In true holiday fashion, the folks at Our Fair City have their own yearly celebration of Exclusion Day, where they give thanks for being safely within the community walls. We’ve managed to smuggle a recording of one such celebration from their secluded safehold – a collection of carols from their Exclusion Day celebration in 2015, along with Hartlife NFP’s trailer for their upcoming new series “Unwell, a Midwestern Gothic Mystery“. And to cap it all off, some local-produced grinchiness with our good friends at It’s All Been Done Radio Hour. It’s a Christmas story from one of their past specials, revisiting the Top-Notch Tangler as she deals with one hoodlum’s horrible holiday heist in “The Grinchmeister”.
