Who’s ready for more adventures in some out-of-this world locales?
In Victoriocity, writers Chris and Jen Sugden share a story that reaches back to 2010 in its production. The tale of Even Greater London instills the Victorian Era with a significant advance in science and technology, while keeping a strong sense of imagination and tongue-in-cheek humor, especially in our good detective Inspector Fleet. Victoriocity is a wonderful romp of noir, mystery and comedy that’s sure to amuse.
On the other side of the galaxy, the story of Lone Star Planet is a Ron N. Butler adaption of the novel, written by H. Beam Piper. It’s a story of true Western grit and the outsiders trying to understand it all, where occasionally one’s pistol has to do the talking. Skill with a rifle is a good talent for Ambassador Silk to have, especially as he dives deeper into past assassinations, threats on his life and threats to New Texas itself. It’s wonderfully produced by the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company and a great way to round out your hour of audio drama.
Enjoy the next hour of uninterrupted storytelling! Coming up: Victoriocity, Episode 2: “The Lodging House” and Lone Star Planet, Chapter 5: “A Conspiracy of Wolves and Curs“.
