It’s time for one more visit with Imploding Fictions and SoundStories tonight, so enjoy them while you can!
Tonight’s show starts with Episode 3 of The Amelia Project and the curious case of Alicia Cairne. The series is the brainchild of Philip Thorne and Oystein Brager, in association with Open House Theatre. The production company focuses on International Theatre, with talented folks from France, Norway, Austria and the UK. They’ve been producing theatre works since 2007, and The Amelia Project is their first audio drama podcast. They have already begun work on a Season Two, so if you like what you hear tonight there’s plenty more to be heard at their website and extras to find by donating to their Patreon page.
After Amelia, we turn to the stars to revisit 407 Arachne and the second half of their story. The story was written by Brian d’Eon, directed by Jennifer Arave and produced by Jerry Sterns, one of the masterminds of Great Northern Audio Theatre along with cohort Brian Price. Over the last 20 years, both of them have worked on independent productions outside the Great Northern sphere, and now they’ve compiled them into a full collection as SideTracks. If you like the SoundStories tales we’ve been playing, go to greatnorthernaudio.com/sidetracks to hear a whole lot more of these independent works. Now, on with the show!
