Happy Holidays, everyone! November is gone, and now it’s time to shower you with many a winter-wonderland-type tale! This month we’re breaking out the Christmas stories, and every year we try to find a collection of unique and lesser-known tales, instead of the traditional “Carol”. Tonight is certainly high on that unique list, with pieces from The Truth Podcast and 19 Nocturne Boulevard. We start with “Naughty or Nice“, which shows us a glimpse of the infrastructure behind Santa’s corporate organization. After that is a “Trilogy for Xmas“, with stories from the 1912 anthology “A Christmas Garland”, adapted for audio drama – “Scruts” by Arnold Bennett, “PC X 36” by Rudyard Kipling, and “The Feast” by Joseph Conrad. And if the characters get a bit out of hand with the narrator, well…the more the merrier! Try to keep up!
No MAT Features tonight – you’ll hear the rest of them on our show in two weeks. In the meantime, don’t forget our Scriptwriting Competition is well under way – you can find out more about writing and submitting at our info page for your chance to have your story produced and aired on our show. Keep writing!
