Happy Post-Fourth-of-July, everyone! Last week we had a rerun of sorts – while we haven’t heard many Independence Day-themed audio dramas, we did a political/humor-themed one a while back for Election Day. So, we brought that show back for last week’s holiday. If you missed it, you can find the episode here. Happy listening!
As for tonight, we are back to more new tales. This episode, we have two stories in genres we haven’t heard in quite some time, from a production group that is well-loved and well-missed from last time they were on our show. Final Rune Productions has been awarded several recognitions for their work since their start in 2006-2007, and most recently its been announced that they will be working on the full-cast audio book adaption of the graphic novel series, “Locke and Key” to be released on Audible. The group is lead by Fred Greenhalgh, who also produces the Radio Drama Revival, a weekly podcast and radio show that not only showcases audio drama tales but also interviews the producers and people behind the stories.
Tonight Final Rune Productions shares with us a comedic drama of an island shipwreck entitled “Waiting for a Window“, followed by a fantasy tale of a knight’s quest in “Fall of the Hero“. It’s time to set sail – enjoy!
