Episode 310 – Space Junk Galore

Episode 310 – Space Junk Galore

We’ve updated! This and the next few episodes were late in posting – I’m afraid we got a bit sidetracked with following up on MAT Features planning and auditions, as well as some new projects we’re trying to start up. Thank you for your patience!

Automnicon is here for you. Whether you want to be or not. Welcome!

This show, we’re going on a journey of odd jobs, personal debt and corporate obligation, all thanks to Automnicon – the kind of space-bound company Hartlife might become if it was purely driven by profit and statistics.

Born from a love of radio, audio books and storytelling, We Fix Space Junk is a series written by Beth Crane, who developed its characters and storyline since her time in university. We find ourselves familiar with Kilner and Samantha, who are travelling the universe making repairs and taking on jobs to pay off their debts. With a refreshing storyline in a typical scifi universe of strange creatures, customs and motivations, it approaches science fiction telling in a very Douglas Adams-esque way. Overall it’s a fun listen with a lovely bit of mystery and doom in store for our heroes, with wry humor to boot. We have a full hour of We Fix Space Junk in store for you, with four back-to-back episodes: “Escape from Hargan IV”, “Flight of the Submarine”, “The Popcorn Men of Entertania III” and “An Unsubtle Utopia”. Enjoy!
